I thought this part was for under column trim on a mid to late 70's C3 but now I don't think so. It was in a box of random parts I purchased years ago. Anyone know what this is?
Pretty sure it's exactly what you thought. Perhaps 78-82 only? And it used to be red, and was horribly abused by a PO who had to have a black interior. Just like my car!
The rectangular cutout may have been for an aftermarket switch of some sort, not stock.
