So I pulled off the old crank gear and put on the new on and this is the test fit for the new DR timing chain. I haven't torqued down the cam gear bolts nor put on threadlocker blue yet.

Chain is tight, was a bit of a struggle to get the cam gear on. I plan on taking the cam bolts out one by one and putting threadlocker blue on them and then I'll torque all 3 down.
Next time you need to turn the crank with the balancer removed, there is a socket for that to slip over the crank snout. Should be available lots of places, even locally. Probably could even rent one.

Today I ordered a Cam Locking Plate for a SBC off Amazon. Could not find one at Napa or other auto parts dealers.

Good for you, however. That part is inexpensive insurance. Loctite is a wonderful product, but not 100% guaranteed.
As I recall, there are three bendable tabs per bolt. You only need to bend one or two of the tabs per bolt.
Plus a drop of Loctite Blue and you are good to go.

I would think that for the cost of renting one of those sockets, you could spend $2-3 more, and buy one. Then you have it for future use.
