TM is Trademark, as in "Hurst Slap" (TM), or Steamboat Willie (no longer TM).
RHD is right-hand drive. Some C3s in Australia needed to be converted when imported. Newer ones may not. I don't know which applies to @4-vettes, but if his is right-hand drive, it may be difficult to use a Hurst Shifter at all, especially one of the newer ones.
The stick that is supplied with the shifter is NOT straight. It has a slight bend and when mounted to the shifter body, it leans toward the passenger side of the car. This is most likely your problem.
