I was fortunate to have the pleasure of meeting him in person at Carlisle. He was a tremendous asset and inspiration to this hobby, on this Forum and beyond.
So sorry to hear this. David was one of the really good guys - always helpful and willing to share his knowledge and advice. He will be sorely missed...
I am shocked to learn of David’s passing, A few years ago he offered to look for a very hard to find item at Carlisle. That he would go out of his way to help any Forum Member is mind blowing, that certainly tells a lot about him. I am probably in the same age group as David, and just had some out patient surgery yesterday. David was a special person I know, and he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. I pray that his family will take comfort in knowing how much he was admired by all the Forum Members and all the many folks he helped. God Bless David, his family and all his many friends.

What a gut punch to hear this very sad news, I had the pleasure of meeting him once when I bought some date coded correct wheels for my 72 corvette, such a very nice man. He will be missed by all on this forum.
Rest in Peace David.
Gone but NEVER forgotten. Rest in peace my brother!!!I met David August 30th 2008 when he made the hour drive from his house in Easton, PA to mine in Lansdale. I had placed an ad on CF for an exhaust system and David gobbled it up! Our relationship grew to where we referred to each other as Brother's From Another Mother and never let the distance get in the way of our friendship. We did so much together, Carlisle - Spring, Fall - Corvettes at Carlisle, Daytona, Fla. for the Daytona 500. We helped each other out with our Vettes and made trips all over to get parts or another Corvette. David will be missed but HE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

You will be sorely missed!
I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting David in person, but as a fellow forum member, my several dealings with him had been great.
Rest easy, brother.

I've been off this site for a while now due to other circumstances but came on today to troll around and was shocked to see this post. Dave was a great guy, his wisdom and guidance on this site was un-matched. I had the pleasure of meeting Dave threw John (govettego) in the buying and selling of parts as well as corresponding with him on this site and over the phone. A sad loss, Rest easy my friend, prayers to the family as well.
