I need a decent valuation for my '72 vette.....there is NOTHING stock, except the chrome bumpers....pix from 6 years ago are online here....
paint has suffered the usual wear over the few years.....but from tires up, it's totally custom, both mechanically and cosmetically......and the rag top is tired....it drives ok, but it's a DD use for some years now, spending more days in the garage than even a 2 mile trip.....
so lets keep it honest and lo price estimates.....
Being a rookie I have no clue.
I'm guessing it depends on how much $$$$$$ you have invested compared to how much you are willing to take when someone makes an offer.
Well, what’s invested has nothing to do with value, particularly in a custom.
It’s hard call with no pics provided at all. Interior custom too?
By the description it sounds like it needs everything. Is the body modified significantly?
Im gonna say a chrome bumper convertible in running but “needs everything “ condition should still have a floor of about $15k, unless there’s major surgery required someplace (body, frame).
Can you link to a thread? From what I've gathered from your postings over the years, not that it NEEDS everything, but that EVERYTHING has been done, but might need freshening up. Being this is a total custom, buyers with different tastes than you, may not value all the particular modifications.
It may be extremely difficult for us to find these pic's from 6 years ago. And truthfully they matter little anyway.
A ton of current pic's. Under Car, interior, birdcage, body mount locations, engine bay. Specifications of the engine, trans, etc. May help come up with at least an idea of value.
Without a lot more information and these requested current pic's. Everyone on here is shooting in the dark.
