You ain’t just whistling Dixie my good sir. I know one video series I watched, can’t recall whom it was, but they were rebuilding a brown early 70’s vette and installed an oversized radiator. I need to figure out where to get a nice, good quality one, that won’t break the bank. I recall my grandfather being insistent to replace the radiators on all of his vehicles when he first moved out here with oversized ones.
a hint, for those who know their history, I am from the home of the burger joint where Wimpy and Sweet Pea characters from Popeye got their name.
IF you don't need to spend a wheelbarrow full of money on an oversize radiator...
take measurements of your current radiator and buy a late model aluminum multi-core radiator from a Pull-A-Part/etc.
IF you want a Really Large radiator and don't mind modifying the radiator support...fabricate a rectangular frame that will fit in place of the OEM support between the fender supports and buy used radiator to fill the frame.
