Here's another favorite of mine for '68 only: non-slotted shims for rear alignment. To adjust alignment on the rear you needed to remove the trailing arm bolt and then change shims(!). Think of all the suspension stuff needed to do what should have been very simple adjustments. When I restored our '68 front/rear suspension, I drilled holes in the frame as they did in '69 and up, and changed over to the slotted shims and cotter pin set up. My alignment guy was grateful. That said, I sure do like our '68!

Agree. Coffee can went well into 1969. My Aug 69 has it.
