When i see Corvette's for sail some will have a letter from NCRS with dates and zones dealers were in. I'am not familiar with NCRS would my Corvette need to be judged or authenticated to get one of these letters? I already know and have documents my car sold new in Canada. I figure the more documents i have the better.
Canada kept records of cars brought into the country. NCRS might be able to tell you what dealer it went to. Your car's value lies in originality and paperwork proving that what you have now is how it left the factory.
if you're a member of NCRS you can pay for the shipping report to get that. if your car was sold new in Canda and you have the official letter from GM of Canda that has all that plus the option list not sure what else you can gain

Keith,
GM of Canada no longer offers this information. Apparently, they sold these records some time ago to a company called Vintage Vehicle Services (if I remember correctly). Again, going from memory, it was started by George Zapora who was in charge of these records while he was employed by GM of Canada. I am not sure if George is still associated with VVS… I can tell you that the current contact(s) are two brothers (name escapes me) who answer phone calls/emails. Cost for records was $165 the last time I ran one (last year).
In any case, that’s the current status of getting GM records in Canada.

No judging or authentication required. The shipping data letter only needs your VIN for it to be looked up – I believe there are small numbers of VINs for which no shipping records exist. As mentioned above, you need to be a member ($60 US & territories; $67 Canada) and pay $50 for the research and prep time to search and send the info to you.
