82 Corvette Check Engine Light doesn't work
I have an 82 Corvette. And the check engine light wont come on with the key on.
Put a new printed circuit board.
And lights etc for cluster.
Still cant get check engine light to light up.
When I bridged the diagnostic ports under ashtray, with key on. The relay next to map sensor flicks. With no check engine light flashing.
Does anyone have any advice.

Just need check engine light to work, so that I can read any codes that are being thrown. Sick of buying new electrical parts and getting nowhere lol. Cheers.

From: Arizona - If you don’t know CFI, STOP proliferating the myths around it...
You didn't say if the engine starts just fine or not. Check the 20amp fuse in the battery box if you have starting issues as well. Also, purchase the 82 GM corvette service manual. It has everything you will need to troubleshoot this issue.

It wants to start. It fires a little bit. And then nothing. Thanks re manual
