Default Fuel leak issue

I am leaking fuel from the rear passenger side, it looks like from the overflow. I just changed the pump and it only leaks while running. Is it possible I have the supply and return lines backwards? It starts and runs fine, there’s only a quarter of a tank worth of gas in it so I know it’s nowhere near overfilled. Am I just wishful thinking because I don’t want to drop the tank?

Check the condition of the fuel separator valve and hose on the upper left side of the tank. Also, if you have info sheet on the pump, verify correct hook-up. If you don't, do a Google search on the pump and see if you can find the info on it that you need.

What year car? On my 68 the fuel line in is 3/8" and the return line is 1/4". Jerry

It’s a 1976, L48. There was a lot of vacuum lines hooked up completely wrong, like the PVC to the carb bowl and the vapor line from the evap to the carb was blocked, I recently corrected those issues as well. It’s amazing it ran at all, the vacuum advance line was connected but when I pulled it there was a plug inside the hose also.
