Curious what the exhaust pipe ground clearance is at its lowest point in the rear - also - is the exhaust pipe diameter 2.5 inches?
The pipe diameter is 2.5". I'd have to go down to my workshop an measure the ground clearance, but suffice to say, it is, what it is. I'm running lower than stock ride height, so comparisons will be difficult. The architecture of the car is terrible for rear exit exhaust systems. It is almost like they designed the car and then said, " Oh **** we forgot to put on an exhaust!"
First time seeing this thread...really nice. I have the RideTech suspension on a '71 coupe project car I'm building mostly for track days. Interested to hear how you like it once you get out and put some miles on it. The front springs that come with their setup are 575 lb/in, and my car sits considerably higher than yours, even adjusted as low as it will go. Did you swap the springs, and what are you running?

I have the Ridetech supplied springs and the rates are 575 and 375 (F to R). Only have about 10 miles on the car so far, and the ride is definitely stiff. I could go lower in the front with the amount of threads left on the shock. I wonder if you have a 10" spring for the front. I have an 8" spring front and 10" rear.
Final assembly essentially complete! Have to do some tweaking to the fuel injection and put some shakedown miles on the car. The few miles I have so far shows the power of this 2018 LT1 in this light car is awesome. Hard to keep the rear tires from spinning.
Have to give credit to Competition Paint in Gresham, Oregon for the bodywork and paint. Those guys rock.
The adapter looks fine with a black column. Note that my column is an Ididit tilt unit, painted wrinkle black.
Is the column thinner than stock? How'd you manage to keep it from contacting the 12" Holley dash? I was considering getting the 12", but went with the 6" specifically because of this.

I had to pull a few tricks to get the 12.3 dash to fit. First actually cut away part of the column shroud. See attached photo. Next I used 1/2" spacers at the mounting bolts to lower the column. To compensate for the lowered column, I have the tilt at fill rise.

Wow! That's impressive! I was upset when I saw this post, because I really wanted the 12" and thought "Oh ****, it CAN be done!" ...But I wasn't going to cut up my steering column, so I think I made the right choice
Bravo, though! The 12" fits the space perfect and is far more striking than the 6".
Finalized the last few details on the interior and center console. Use a laser engraver to make some custom plaques and labels. I call this project complete!!

Such an awesome build, the interior is perfect! Is that switch in the center console how you activate the parking brake?

Thanks! The switch activates the Wilwood electric parking calipers. Took some fabrication to make brackets to adapt to the rear swing arms. They work fantastic and eliminates all the original cable operated nonsense.
Ok RJS, time to start reproducing and selling those upgraded parts! I’m holding a sign that says:
Ha, ok well thanks, but not in the foreseeable future. I'll be happy to share any photos / digital files and experience I have for those who want to replicate.

Wish I had the tools and know how to use those files. I may end up finding someone who does and take you up on that. Thanks for the offer!
Made a walk around video for your viewing pleasure. Note that the flickering of the tail lights is an affect of the camera. I am using PWM to dim them and to the naked eye, they are fine.

Seriously, this is the best resto-mod/custom C3 that I have ever seen, and I've had Corvettes for almost 40 years, simply awesome in every detail!
Congratulations, it's beautiful!

I agree. It's stunningly gorgeous!
After all the curves of a C3 are hard to beat.
And the 2018 LT1 D.I. / 6 speed combo just updates it like 5 decades.
Best engine combo I can think of.
Should get near 30 mpg, in non-rocket booster mode! LOL
