Has anyone installed c2 side exhaust on a 1968 corvette? I have a small block and would like to install the side exhaust from a c2 on it. If so, what mods do i need to do?
Thanks

Highflo performance sells a "C2" chambered side pipe for a C3, only difference is the tip, the pipes bolt right up and mount right up without issue, other than tips they are compatible as far as I know, not certain about end length stock to stock. .. just installed a set. I would guess covers would need some modifications to fit C3 contour and bolt pattern

Motion Performance did it so apparently it can be done. These are obviously big block cars, but I’m certain a good welder can make the pipes work with a small block.
I put a set of C2 pipes pn my '78 that I got from Allen's exhaust a few years ago and they bolt right up. The bolt location behind the door is right where the bracket coming off the pipes is located. You might have to mess with the valance over the pipes. Mine are located just low enough that the C3 valance fit fine. I actually think they look great on the car. IMHO. Please ignore the paint, it isn't there any longer.

You can fit the C2 pipes under the C3 covers....This is the first Ive seen the c2 covers on a C3. As stated there are 2 companies making these pipes that bolt up to a small block or a big block stock manifolds. HighFlo makes the c2 pipes with c3 tips for the c3 covers to bolt up to Hedman side exhaust corvette headers but you may need to massage the headers to fit in certain spots. I had to.
I noticed that the second and third examples you posted each have the GTO type gauge housing on their hood.
Interesting!
Since the mid-year side-exhaust covers seem to be completely below the rocker trim panel does that make them quite close to the ground?

The engine compartment disguised as a 70 so I could use a 70 style distributor shield and an open style air cleaner.... and a 300 hp decal on the air cleaner lid.
