You gotta do what makes you happy…probably why we have the car in the first place. That said, I love the look of my riverside gold 69’ convertible and if had to repaint I’d keep it the same color!

This photo makes the gold option look very appealing. Is this car showing the factory gold? Some artistry by an experienced painter can make a factory color look much better. I saw an award winning C2 (SEMA?) painted in the original silver that had a stunning appearance, much better than the factory.

The gold is not my favorite color but I feel really guilty changing the color of a car where almost every nut and bolt is original.
It depends on what your plan is for the car. If it's one your goinng to keep then change ti to a color you like. If you plan on selling it at some point in the future then I'd keep it stock color. Just my .02
