Just purchased my first corvette. 1969 convertible. Basic 350/300. Any thoughts about what I might expect.

Hello,
Welcome!!
Very nice looking car!!!!
I'd think you're going to turn LOT'S of heads!!
A few more photos should get you many more comments.
The life it's lead and how it's been taken care of should let you know what to expect.
Regards....

Welcome to the forum! Your new C3 looks beautiful You should expect:
  • Miles of smiles
  • Lots of help from forum members. Very knowledgeable and helful people here.
  • If you're on the forum much you should expect to make some 'friends' here. I have and hope to meet some in person one of these days.
  • Surprises. Some good. Some not as good. But whatever is 'not as good', you'll get it.
  • Get your hands dirty working on stuff. Have fun doing it. This forum and YouTube are your friends.
  • In spite of some interesting engineering decisions at times, these cars are not that hard to work on. The engineers packed a lot of cool stuff in these cars so enjoy learning some new things along the way.
  • Lots of compliments - C3's are drop dead gorgeous.
What do we expect?
  • More pictures and background on you new ride!
Best, Paul

Thumbs up, waves, smiles as you drive it, people telling you “that’s a Corvette”, forum members wanting more pics, great cruises, lots of admiration and people stopping to look at your ride at car shows and cruise ins….I can go on…but think you are getting the picture from all the responses from the members that you will have lots of fun with your 69.
