Every time i drive my '69, I wish for a right side mirror. But since it didn't come with one, I can't get enough nerve to add it. BTW, 60s Camaros only had driver side mirrors too. (As well as many other cars until mid 1970s).
The only time I wish for a right mirror is when I'm driving with the top up. I've been seriously thinking about installing C6 mirrors. I think they look good on our C3's
I mounted mine using the template provided which is exact to the drivers side and works great, I can see the lane to the right of me while driving and I can back my car out of the garage even when my wife doesn't park my truck correctly in the driveway and navigate just fine backing up along side my truck without turning my head backwards... just a flat mirror and I can adjust to see to the rear right side just fine
This 100%. Added one to the right side of my 72 using the template. Flat mirror and works great. A lot of over analysis going on in here. I did opt for the larger 74 and later mirrors.
I recently purchased a1973 that only had the drivers side mirror as was delivered from the factory. I also added the passenger side mirror where the template suggested.Since my car is a nice(very nice but I am biased) driver, for safety I purchased the larger 1974 mirrors for both the driver and passenger sides. It looks balanced, both have new chrome and better visibility.
