Hello. During the winter I raised the headlights on my 69 by hand. They clicked into place and I noticed that the pull down overide thingy under the steering coloum also got pulled down at some point. They stayed that way for a few months. Today I started the car and after putting the overide thingy under the steering colum to the usual position both the lights wouldn't close. They appear to be getting the "signal" as they both start to go down perhaps 1/4" but stop.
Is there somethig under the headlight that needs to be done after they are raised by hand and click into that position before trying to lower them? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Problem solved. Went back and looked at the headlights again and reliezed that I had not put the vacuum lines back on the actuators that I removed them to raise them up. No one to blame but myself.
