Default 1972 Corvette Big Block

Can someone advise me which dual plane oval port intake manifold that would fit under a 1972 Big Block Corvette LT-1 hood?

Why not build the engine you want to build. Then put a hood on it that will fit?
Anything else is a compromise.

I was going to offer up you swap over to rectangular port heads but I have no cash to spare.

When I installed a high rise hood on my 77. Absolutely no one contributed to the cause. However, even though I am anything but wealthy. I found a way. And I have had no issues with high rise manifolds and high air filters ever since.

I believe the stock aluminum LS6 intake is all you got for a real choice. I see the prices all over the place on ebay, $500 to $1500....make sure the numbers are correct for a corvette intake

The LS6 manifold is for rectangular port heads and the OP is looking for something that will work with oval ports.

Simple answer.
There is not an aftermarket oval intake port that fits that hood with a BB.
Only the two GM ones, the 569 Holley R-port repop, or the 68-69 GM C3 Qjet dual plane.

Point of reference - purchased a 69 GM aluminum Qjet manifold in good condition for my LS5, a few months ago, for a couple hundred dollars.

He can put a square port on oval port heads...which is his only option without going to an L88 hood
