I need the glass for a removable hardtop for 68-75 dont care about dates just need the glass thanx!!

I'm in the same boat.....nice top with no glass. I have been looking since Nov. and with no luck. I was told by one glass supplier that nobody is making the glass anymore and there are no new ones to be had. I was also told that a Company in Michigan was planning on making a mold and reproducing them. In the meantime I had another piece of .22 thick plexiglass cut to fit till I can find the correct tempered glass.

I have found several old used ones one guy wanted 500 the other 750 !!?? i can buy another complete top for that!!! people are nuts!! so i guess its gonna get plexaglass as it is only for winter storage useage any way!!!

If anyone finds one for a '68 date code, I'll pay a slight premium for it and exchange out my '72 as part payment.

I've got a hardtop with the glass but not much else. The hardtop needs TLC but I really don't want to split it up. If interested email me and I'll get it down and send some pic's but it would be better if you looked at it in person. Really don't want to ship it anyway.

these pieces of glass do not exist anymore. if you do find one plan on paying at least $500.00 for it. i have a 72 top for $700.00 complete...i had a top without the glass and i took a sawzall to it and tossed it in the trash...good luck

eBay has a top from a '72 that has been sitting at $500. It's a choice.
