I didn't hear everything they had to say about the Motion Vette but what I did hear I didn't like. They didn't quite seem to know what it was so they slammed it.Didn't even know where Baldwin Chevy was.But as Brock said it wasn't a "yacko"I think that how he pronounced it.
He is annoying, but in fairness, wasn't the Z an R/S Z28? And he only saw the R/S part which made the trans question a fair question??
Nice that they read email from Lance Miller and acknowledged Chip Miller.
Yes, I was quite shocked they read that email to the public - very cool! We were having a birthday party for my Mom & I figured I'd shoot them an email thanking them for the recognition for the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation & sure enough I just sat down (without telling anyone) and they all heard it at the party. They were like - HOW DID THAT HAPPEN??? I just laughed & said I have my ways...

Life is good...

Lance, that was a great "Car Crazy" show yesterday (01-31-05) featuring your dads accompishments and the cars he owned, Its probably the only time I've ever watched the whole show. He must have been a great dad, I wish I would have known him. Steve

Oh thanks Steve...
He was incredible - he's in a better place now (slamming gears smiling away). It's funny they keep playing that interview now and people always call me to say I'm on TV - amazing how many people watch Speed these days!
Actually, I kind of like reading Brock Yate's column in Car & Driver. Sometimes I agree with his opinions totally, and some times I am diametrically opposed to them. Love or hate his opinion, I'm never in between but I'm always entertained.
I was surprized that he made a comment about the Challenger T/A being only available in '70 and '71. Not!! Only '70, Brock. I'm not even a Mopar guy and I know that. The T/A was one of those special editions, kind of like a Corvette LT-1. I realize not everyone would be familiar with Challengers, but Brock's claim to fame was his Cannonball Run 440 powered Challenger. I don't own an LT-1 but know a fair amount about them just because I own an early shark and am interested in that vintage Corvette. I guess Brock isn't in to Mopars as much he'd led us to believe.
