yesterday I finally got my reenlistment bonus in my checking account... That got the ball rolling on the mods for the vette. Took the heads and manifolds to the machine shop for rework. when I get back from Texas, I'm ordering my suspension kit. Needless to say, with the amount of stuff that I have to get done before the May 1 show, i'm gonna be a busy duck!
It's the first time i am doing major repair work with out dad being by my side. I feel I can do it... Uncle Sam trusts me to work on my own with 2.2 billion dollar aircraft...so my car should be relatively simple compared to that...

Don't worry you'll always have us here to help you out!
you could always pull a GSC3 and trailer it there. I plan on driving mine but given the fuel mileage that his car will probably get, i would trailer it too. As for working on the B-2, somedays i swear its a curse but it is always a sense of pride for me. After almost 11 years of working on it, I still get chills and a huge poo eating grin from watching it fly over! Here's a little shot of the beast and some of it's brothers getting ready to take off...
Aflac,
I was in Sheppard AFB not to long ago. I was there for my 3 level and 7 level courses. What a boring place. Spent many a night partying in the TDY dorms. That was the highlight there. Oh... and watching the Army dudes running PT while we were drinking a beer in front of them. lol. I'm just a "Guard Bum" from Niagara Falls AB. But have been getting our share of the action. Feels like active duty status somtimes.
Good luck on your vette project! Congrats on your reenlistment!
