Does anyone know where one can get -4 an male flare to 5/8 18 unf male adapters and -4an male flare to 5/8 18 unf female ??? I need those to hook up some check valves.
That's a huge size difference. I just did a quick search on the net, and most of the manufacturers only do -4 to 1/4 inch (as the biggest size)You might want to call Earl's, Russell, Aeroquip, or some of the other manufacturers to see if they make the part you want. It isn't a common adapter, that's for sure.
5/8-18 is a natl fine bolt thread and requires a 37/64 tap drill ! Sounds like some thing you will have to have custom made . Everytime I need something like that I have to make it . Monty needed a similar type fitting but smaller I made up for his twin turbo project !
I needed a special fitting for my hydraboost that would clear the hydraulic master cylinder and nothing available would give a tight enough radius.
My local shop took two steel fittings, cut them and then brazed them together. It looked like one fitting when then were done. This might be the best near term option.

Man I wish you had a part #.I work for Gulfstream Aerospace and we use all kinds of AN fittings. If any of you need anything like that let me know,I'll hook you up no charge.
Well, thanks to Pete I now have 1 part # I'll go look for the other..if there is one. I'll have to search the net for that aeroquip catalog again (automotive & hydraulic stuff)... maybe I can find it in there.

Looks like FCM 2964 is also correct (high pressure inverted flare adapter), same as 12108..only steel not aluminium. I could use 2 of these and run a unf/unf adapter ...hmmmm
rats..this female one is problematic and I can't seem to find femalm to female 5/8 - 18 unf adapters, does anyone know? If I have one of those I can use 2 12108 adapters.

Could you simply use a steel or stainless nut,
or is it a tapered thread ?
I'm thinking about doing what G said, just make my own. Gotta get some T6 aluminum, have drills & taps. Why does everything always have to be some damn hard ...and these crappy shops here don't help either, they don't carry anything but all that silly ricer crap. I live in the wrong country I tell ya!
