Default Adjusting door?

My driver's door doesn't quite close all the way. The door latches solidly, but the trailing edge of the door sticks out about 1/8" from the body in the closed position.

Do I just adjust the (torx) striker post inboard?

Yes, it will move in/out/up and down. You should be able to get it right where you need it.

Hi,
I put tape on the jamb on three sides of the striker's large washer. Then I loosen the striker just enough so I can tap it in the direction I want it to move. The tape allows me see just how far the tapping has moved the striker and in what direction. Then tighten the striker and try the door.
Do a little bit at a time.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan
