Default Engine paint

Does anyone know of a place that sells orange engine paint that is not in an aerosol can. I would like to touchup my engine by either hand painting or use an air brush. Tried the local auto paint store and they only stock the rattle cans.

Just get correct paint code and they can mix it for you at a auto paint store if they have data or chip or :
Try using Duplicolor DE 1607 Chevrolet Orange-Red as a reference.

I took a T-top in to a auto paint supplier and they matched a can for me for touch up and trim work. I imagine if you didn't already have something orange to take in, you could buy a can of the spray paint. paint a small piece of metal that color (has to be more or less flat) or a piece of wood etc., take it to auto paint supplier and they can match it for you. It cost me $15 or so for a spray can, and $2 or $3 for a small bottle of brush on touch up paint.

If you really want the engine to look good with the correct color, use the real PPG Chevy Engine Color. Here is the actual mixing formula and color code for the paint:

PPG Delstar Chevy Engine Orange, DAR #60524 H
Mixing Formula (1 qt, cummulative):
DMR 400 4.0 units
DMR 405 160.0 units
DMR 464 660 units
DXR 495 680 units
DMR 499 1250 units

Mix the paint 8:6:1 Delstar/DTR601 Reducer/DXR80 Catalyst and shoot it with a paint gun.

Eastwood Co sells "One Shot". It's a two part epoxy high temp engine paint is Chevy Orange. Brushes on with ease. Great coverage...great results.
