Default Please Help once Again...O2 sensor?

Ok,

I have been working on my vette for a couple of months replacing parts left and right.

This is my problem. Hard starting resulting in myself having to give the car gas to start. TPS sensor seems to of helped this though. But now when I am driving I get a O2 sensor lean condition after driving every time for about 5 minutes or less. I replaced all of the parts below and I am about to give up. Any ideas?

So far I have replaced:
Coolant temperature sensor
Map Sensor
Coolant temperature sender
Distributor cap
Ignition rotor
Ignition Coil
Ignition module
All spark plugs
O2 sensor
Fuel Injectors
Exhaust system
Throttle Position Sensor
Alternator
Battery
Battery Posts
PCV valve
Mobil Oil change

Thanks Guys!

The O2 sensor won't read accurately until after the car is warmed up. I get lean readings on mine (Holley Commander 950) when the engine is cold, even if the exhaust is eye-stingingly rich.

Sorry one more thing.
I had a problem with the alternator overcharging pretty much everything. Could it of messed up the computer?
Everything else works fine though.

The connections to the MAP sensor are fine, and I had the intake manifold gasket recently replaced. So.....what could be causing my car to go "lean"?

Even with the car warmed up the Check engine light still comes on...and stays on untill I restart the car.

I doubt the problem is in the PCM. The computer is more like a light switch -it either works as advertised or it doesn't.

I also doubt that your past charging problems upset the electronics.

I reading about a lot of parts being thrown at the problem but not much in the way of diagnostics. But based upon what info you've provided, I'd say you have a fuel pressure issue.

If you have access to a fuel pressure gauge, hook it up and verify that you are in specs. I would not replace the pump or the regulator until I verified they were bad. If the fuel system checks out then you really need to read your datastreams to see what your sensors are doing and also verify the reference voltage.

I suppose the problem is poor diagnosis.

Im learning as I am going so I suppose that I will just keep trying.

Also the fuel pump was replaced. I wonder if they replaced it with the right one/way.

Also, how would I find out about my datastreams. What type of machine do I need to hook her up to?

Thank You

When replacing parts "New" does not always mean good.
What you need for troubleshooting :
1.Download WinALDL program. Its free but make a contribution to support the site, please.
2.Buy the cable from one of the Supporting vendors like www.customefis.com for your laptop or make your own cable.
3.Look at cross-fire forum

Everyone with a crossfire should know about it.

I would also say, check for vacume leaks, verify fuel pressure, and check for corrosion on O2 sensor wiring.

Did you adjust the TPS to the proper setting. The thermostat has to be of 180 degrees.
