Choke relay
My 1980 has suddenly decided to start buzzing from under the console and the choke light has come on and stayed on. In an earlier post it was suggested that the Choke Relay was the cause of the problem.
I pulled the console and the relay that was buzzing is Dark Green with three spades but my AIM says it is an anti theft relay. Does anyone know if this relay works for both the Choke and Anti theft?

I don't know the answer, but can't believe that the two systems share the same relay. Common sense dictates that two totally unrelated sytems, one of which is standard and the other optional, wouldn't overlap like this.

That was my thinking too but isn't it strange the choke light comes on and the Anti theft relay starts buzzing. Guess its was just wishful thinking that they were related and I needed only one fix.
