Is anyone using the G Timer by Cinn. Microwave? I'm going to try The G Tech Pro this week and wanted some kind of comparison on the two units. I know the Pro has more options, just wondering about the accuracy of the units....Thanks
I have HP tested about 20 cars with a G-Tech performance meter. It repeats well, however, it gives lower readings than a chassis dyno, mostly due to the fact that you are spinning up your front wheels during the run AND there is no incentive for the meter to show big numbers. I work with test machines and faulty calibration can give any result one wants - most people want big numbers so the shops provide them.
Unless specified these are all Corvette Engines in Corvettes.
The numbers are good for comparison purposes and are repeatable. You cannot hit the shifts hard or allow automatics to shift as that gives inflated false readings. (picture a 3 hp Briggs and Stratton spinning up a 1000 lb flywheel and then engaging that spinning flywheel to the ground......)

Thanks for your good information......I can use the numbers for a good baseline and any future modifications and performance improvements should show up on the graphs........
