Default Need help ID'ing part

In my effort to screw up more than I fix I have once again succeded in damaging a part! I need to know what the part is called so I can sound halfway intelligent at the parts store.

On the back of the carb there is a tube that screws into the carb then goes though a bracket and is clamped onto a filter that then goes into the brake power booster. When I was trying to detach it from the carb I twisted the tube. What is the aluminum tube called? I assume it is some type of vacuum line?

Thanks for the help!

If there is enough of the tube left undamaged by the screw in fitting you can cut the tube back and extend the vac hose. you could just go out and buy a piece of, I think it's 3/8" brake line and make this piece also.

Couldn't find it at the major vendor sites. Your best bet might be a vette junkyard like Contemporary Corvette. I've had good luck finding used stuf from them.

I used a screw in gas line fitting. Worked fine...Found in the "HELP" parts section at most automotive stores
