Backup light switch mounting
I have a 74 with a 4 speed. When I bought the car it had no backup light switch on the transmission. I have now accumulated the parts to install a new switch but I am not sure exactly where the mounting plate for the switch attaches to the tranny. If anyone has a similar setup or has done this repair before I really need some help here. Thanks, Wells

the bracket bolts to the lower 2, rear, inspection cover bolts. then the rod attaches to the reverse lever. i am getting a new one myself and mine is not on the trans, otherwise i would take a pic and post it. hope this helps.

I think I got it!!
Thanks, Guys. I see the two bolts I need to attach the plate to. It is the last lower bollt and the rear one farther back but slightly higher. I wasn't sure if it was those two or the two one the very bottom at the same level. Thanks, again and here we go. Wells
