My freind has NOS EFI Nitrous Oxide Systems on his 96 formula that he is selling would it work in my 78 Vette?

I was wondering if I could just put the Nozzle in my filter just like he had it on his filter will it work?

I don't see why it wouldn't work. The only difference between that and the carb style ones is that they have a plate that goes beneath the carb to accomplish the same thing (until you get into the big HP gains then they start putting foggers into the intake runners) . . .

It will probably not work. Efi systems are designed to work at much higher fuel pressures than a carb system. Also the nozzle pictured is a Fogger nozzle. They to be used only in direct port situations (plumbed into the individual intake runners) only.

Find out exaclty what he has and post it.

Buy it, then buy a plate for a carb setup.

Enjoy.

I have a Hitman Plus Kit.

Everything else is OK except the nozzle. Buy a plate and you will be set up.

Although it would seem you could just drill a hole in the breather and it would work....it won't.

The jetting would be way wrong for a carbed motor and you won't have near enough fuel pressure. You would run extremly lean and possibly/probably damage your motor.

EFI cars are set up with 40#'s of fuel pressure and the pulse width and duration of the injectors is controlled by the computer, depending on load and the knock sensor the computer can add fuel up to the limit on the injectors...something your fixed carb settings can't do.

Just buy a plate and have fun!!
