1976 Stringray. I have had to replace the heater core about every two years. What I am finding is the body of the core,on both sides, is expanding outward and ripping open. Anyone here having the same problem? Also having problems with PS pump. I cannot get a good seal with the housing to the pump. Seems to be leaking around the o-ring area? Anybody having the same problem? Solutions? Thanks, Al.

Any chance that you are freezing up? If you get lows temps and your coolant is not up to the task....

Is there a valve in the heater hose? If yes, which hose (supply or return)?
