No they're not Bilsteins. I don't necessarily want the best shock, i want the firmest shock i can find for a reasonable price. These are only $50 each and are adjustable from soft to racing hard. They might only last a few years and thats ok.
I can crank them back down when on the street.
Looks like the best deal. I think these are going in the C3 receipe.

OH,
I forgot the most important ingredent.
Quit all the benchracing crap and get out there and drive a road course
Playing with them it seems the adjustment has a far greater effect on rebound dampening than compression. I can't tell if the 9 position adjustment even changes the compression dampening.
On the stiffest settng i can barely pull the rod out of the shock body, but then again, i'm kind of a wienie.
Yep, these bad boys are stiff. My old KYBs hardly offer any resistance in either direction. Totally shot. I've been running road courses with effectively NO SHOCKS.
Looks like i should pick up some speed with these.

Thats a nice looking car.
Thats a nice looking car.

This past sunday the Windy City B.M.W. club had the 1st autocross. We had close to 90 cars sign up. Many Corvettes, some Vipers, Lotus, GTO, WRX, etc.
We had a high speed event at Elkhart Lake in early May. Over 200 cars.
High speed are broken down to drivers ability. You would not be allowed to run race tires as a novice at any track event.
At Elkhart my younger son ran his 318ti and it was fun watching him pass much faster cars running down the hurry down section of the track and then seeing him getting passed on the straight away by the same cars that made his look like it was in reverse.
You could also look into N.C.C.C. for events but they have so many rules you might over build your car(like me) and will not allow you to run. They do not run any track events either. I am a current officier in Northern Rays Corvette Club and a founding member.
