Default Pass Heads

I have passenger heads on my engine, I was just wondering what is there potential. Are they cast? The engine looks like it has mods on it. Did they have PASS heads for CE engines? The vette was bought and takin apart immediatly for restoration. The engine is marked CE, it was a replacement engine for the vette. The vette is a 1968 possible 427. Thanks

I think pass = oval port. The later (1971+) oval heads were good to 600bhp with valve and minor port work. The earlier closed chamber ones not as good but still fine for a hot street/bracket motor.

Look at the intake ports on head ... oval are oval-shaped ... rectangular are rectangle-shaped.

A casting number might also be helpful.
