Default edlebrock carb ?
I replaced my beatup q-jet last year with an eb 1406. It works great, except after the car is warm if it sits more than 3 or 4 minutes then I have to give it a little gas & crank it for 5 to 10 seconds. If it sits less than that it starts immediately & without touching the gas. Any suggestions.

Sounds normal. Of course, I am still running a Q-Jet so what do I know.

Might be boiling the gas in the carb, which can force it past the needle and seat. If it is then you might need to put one of those insulating spacers between the manifold and the carb.
