I'm planning Hooker sidepipes for sbc 71 roadster but need to gage if clearance for aftermarket oil pan.
Would really appreciate if someone w/smallblock C3 w/ stock oil pan with Hooker sidemount sidepipes could measure UNDER car.
If you have a sbc w/ FACTORY-OE oil pan, I need to know horizontal distance between sides of pan and closest ex tubes ... also approximate vertical distance from oil pan rails to bottom of closest ex tubes.
So, if anyone's got an sbc w/ sidepipes ... and you're gonna be under your car in the next week or so ... hows about try for those 4 measurements and shoot me an email? ... I'd really appreciate it!!!!
