Ken, win any mor Hooters trophies? I'll have to get over there next summer.
Well Stewart, John (Vette Dent) was the lucky recipient of 3rd place at Hooters. ( I think he's a big tipper)

Of course, this is followed closely by:

"Anyone who brings Pabst Blue Ribbon will be tied to the rear end of a car tuned by Lars and expected to run along behind."
I can see Stewarts neighbor showing up "all business" at the next TFB with either Pabst or something with "low" or "light" in it.

No, didn't win squat. My ongoing dream is that I come into a large sum of money, fly Lars and wife into Pittsburgh for an all expense paid 1 week vacation at one of the finer hotels, Lars works on cars for maybe 2-3 days, and the rest of the time spent bench racing and drinking REALLY good beer. NO LIGHT BEER ALLOWED. This is my idea of Nirvana.

You may have to wait 3 or 4 years, if I don't get lucky, by that time I'll just take the money out of the market, figuring I don't have that much longer to go!

Hey Lars, next time can I wire you up with a clip on mic???

Are these videos posted anywhere for download, or are they a private thing? Although my car wasn't there I would love to see them for brain expanding purposes.

OK - We are back in business!! Half shaft flanges, U - joints, backordered spindle flange, and a hundred other distractions slowed me down, but I am back on the road!!
This afternoon KenD414 gave me a hand and we slapped the new valve covers on, cleaned all the tools out from under the car and went for a ride. My car has never run better! Smooth, powerful acceleration. No popping or backfiring when decelerating. Thank you Lars for imparting your know-how to me.
Now I have to learn how to tweak an Edlebrock Carter AFB. But in the meantime, I'll be at the Tueasday night car show at Hooters!!!

Great job with the tuning and subsequent repair! Great to hear that the car is running well and that it responded to the tuning effort!!
