No, didn't win squat. OK - We are back in business!! Half shaft flanges, U - joints, backordered spindle flange, and a hundred other distractions slowed me down, but I am back on the road!!
This afternoon KenD414 gave me a hand and we slapped the new valve covers on, cleaned all the tools out from under the car and went for a ride. My car has never run better! Smooth, powerful acceleration. No popping or backfiring when decelerating. Thank you Lars for imparting your know-how to me.
Now I have to learn how to tweak an Edlebrock Carter AFB. But in the meantime, I'll be at the Tueasday night car show at Hooters!!!
