The guys on LS1tech were saying it uses a standard SBC thermostat. That would be cool. I may have to get one, too, just to get rid of my welded one (blue of course).
Brakes feel good and solid, Dan. You are more than welcome to come over some time and try them out. Once I added the C5 master cylinder it was much better.
I hear ya, Buddy. Seems like there is always something I am wanting to change. I am still kicking myself for not installing a cam when the engine was sitting on the floor of my garage.
Pat - I'm thinking about spraying again also. Probably a TNT kit. There seems to be alot of those for sale in parts.
LS1er's- I like that thermo housing better. The 45 degree reweld doesn't look as nice and it is some what restrictive. More projects, crap.
Buddy,
I was thinking the samething about the housing. I'm still hope I can find a GM part that will work, otherwise I will go with Jeff's option.(not a bad price). Tried calling, Did you play hooky today?
Jeff, I'm currently debating with installing a cam. I have to keep up with the Jones. I'll take you up on trying out the brakes out. I just finalized a dealership with Precision Brakes out of Oregon. They make some quality stuff.

Dan,
Don't think. Just do it. Just about everyone who has put the motor in stock wishes they had changed the cam when they had the chance. Personally, I did the cam but should have had the heads worked on as well while I had them completely disassembled.
Matt, Buddy, and Pat- You talk me into it. I'm putting in a Z06 cam along with flow upgrades. I assume I will need larger injectors? Program mods? Etc. What’s the lift and duration on the Z06 cam?
If I ever race Jeff in the 1/4, I want to make sure I shut him
down.
