I just lowered the front end by cutting one coil off the top. The driver's side is right on. The passenger side is one inch higher than the driver side. So, if someone could tell me what spring to get to lower the front. That would be great. I was thinking about cutting a quarter coil out of the high side. But. What if thats makes it to low. Hell, I'll just buy new springs if anyone could just tell me the spring to get
I think I remember reading somewhere that the big block springs will make it sit lower in the front. They are a shorter and stiffer coil (don't quote me though).
I did the same thing one off the top. Then I found out you`re supposed to cut the bottom. I got VBP #550 springs. The car sat at 27.5 so I cut 1 coil off and now it`s at 26. It`s alittle low but i really like the look.
Before you reinstalled did you compare the two springs side by side? Were they equal? Did your car sit level before? I cut 1 coil of my springs and the car dropped 1 1/2 inch on each side-perfect! How stiff were your a-arm bushings? If they are new, or nearly new, the fristion in the bushings may not be allowing the car to settle correctly, you may need to loosen and retighten the bushing bolts with the car sitting on its tires. Cutting thr spring alittle more can't hurt at this point, but check all these other things first.
