.......but am able to post new threads. What gives??....anyway, Sharktail, I've put the 2 1/2" exhaust on my '69 with no problems (though it wasn't the chambered one).
shfers3...my mirror repair thread ran about a month ago, but here's a short recap (that works well); Let your mirror soak in laquer thinner overnight to loosen the glass from the frame....now, drill out one of the rivets of the strap attached to the mirror ball....next, straighten out the strap so it's tight against the ball and refasten it with a small screw in place of the removed rivet.....replace the glass with 4 dabs of silicone and your're done.
