hi all, sorry i'll bother everybody again with a lowering C3 thread...
my '77 C3 has rear poly springs and front transverse spring kit, QA1 shoks and 8'' rear bolts. Now, the car is abt 300 lbs lighter then stock, so it's higher then stock as well, for the rear the 8'' bolts fix at minimum lowered it nearly ok, i've bought the 10'' ones so i'll try this way, BUT for the front i dont know what to do because i have the transverse kit so i cannot get stiffer srings and then cut it like some previous threads i red sometime ago have suggested.
advices? thanks/Giuseppe

Be careful of those 10" bolts in the rear.
If you are running 15" wheels, these can put the rear spring ends adjacent to the tire sidewall. I had 1" clearance between the sidewall and the spring... not enough! I ripped the sidewall completely out of a perfectly good tire while autocrossing. As long as you keep the spring no lower than even with the rim edge you will be fine.
If it is the VBandP kit it is fully adjustable. It has bolts that attach the spring to the lower A-arms, jsut adjust them to get the desired height.
it's the ecklers kit..item A7181, actually it claims that is 'ride height adjustable' but i couldnt drop the car more then a few mm...maybe i need something more radical?

can you post some pics of your setup? It looks like the VBandP setup. The bolts that attach the spring to the A-arm at the outer end should allow plenty of height adjustment to lower the car.
this is the one I have along with the tube upper A-arms.
