Default couple questions

Just planning on doing a little work tomorrow since I'm off for the holidays..two questions first and probably easier is the belt for my alternator is still squeaking, but only above about 3k rpm. I've tightened it about as much as I can..should I just continue to try and tighten it or is the belt just stretched? What size belt do I need if I need to replace? Other question is about my exhaust my exhaust has seemed to get quieter after I put the headers on...anyone have a clue why this would happen and how I can fix it? Sometimes it seems louder than other times not sure what causes that either..thanks and Merry Christmas!

Default get a high quality belt from Napa...

I had a squeaky belt that I couldn't stop from squeaking. I ended up going to Napa and they told that their belts were better so I bought one. I was amazed. It actually made a difference and stopped all the squeaking....I really thought it was b.s. but I bought it since I was already there. Might want to try it.

Get a new belt. I like Gates (available at NAPA, CarQuest, O'Rieleys). They should be able to tell you what you need.

As far as your newly quiet exhaust, no idea-sorry.
