Chuck
i do have an untested idea for a temperature sensor.:
Take apart an infrared temp gauge, mounting the display on the dash, and the rest under the hood pointing to the primary tube. Find a high temperature unit (that may be the biggest problem, 950 is the highest i've seen)

Keith
you car NOT lazy! 4 meters? WOW!
I suggest a camera to record the action, or at least a tape recorder so you can call out the action. With 2 scales my mind was taxed between traffic and the RAPID changes.
You could easily wreck the car trying to study 4 meters. :confused:

That's great! I have my gage mounted where my non-functional ammeter used to be. It's a custom unit with 10 LEDs mounted to a round steel plate. Looks pretty good. I just need to get the O2 sensor in and hooked up.

What did you use for a sensor? Just a simple 2-wire unit?

Chuck;
Thats a great Idea!
I wonder if they'ed notice the SuperVictor intake or the lumpy idle :D

Drives61;
I thought the same thing, Mount a camera to record the whole thing while I comment on RPM and such. Then I could analyse it later...

Dave,
I just used a new 1-wire sensor that I had laying around. (I think it was one I had picked up for our 93 Bonneville but never put in). I was working for Federal-Mogul at the time, so they were cheap and easy to get. I think they are all (or almost all) 18mm spark plug threads.
