On my '80 L82, I'm having problems getting my headlights up. The left light comes up within 15 seconds at high idle, but my right one struggles to the point of me having to lift it. When I turn the light on, the motor has a slight miss, and goes away when I turn the lights off. I've replaced all of the vacum lines, and even cut the switch out of the loop to see if there was a leak in the switch. Same results. There's enough vacum to darn near suck my fist up the line, so I know lack of vacum is not the problem. Any suggestions? It's 12:30 central, I'll be back in an hour. Thanks....

Its a vaccum leak.
With engine running; pinch off hose by hose until you locate the source/engine idles better...then trace it to the problem.
An old hot rodder trick to find vaccum leaks was to spray carb cleaner on the hoses until the engine missed badly/worse.
What about the headlight opening vacumm actuators diaphagms (whatever thos big gold pie-plate are correctly called)?...check those?
