I know it's kinda Ricer... Anyone running side pipes and the flame throwers? I think it would be neat to put a flame thrower setup on my car.. Anyone's comments are welcome.. Thanks.... Dave..
Flame throwers have also crossed my mind. Not difficult at all to install. Give it a shot. BTW Thanx for the pics of the hard line/ Demon carb set up. I remember seeing it at the Tuning for Beer gathering last May. I also had been looking at the footage I shot of your vehicle to get a closer look at the fittings at the carb.

Not a prob man. I'm always glad to be able to give back what I've learned from others. "Footage" did you get pics or some vids? I would love to have some vids of my car at idle. My camera doesn't have a good movie mode... Just think it was bad when you saw it and now I'm expecting to make 100+ hp.... Dave..
Just for that....I will now look at the tape..... just to get at ya....I will dub it for you tomorrow. contact me at my email adress Oldguard7@hotmail.com so I can know where to send it. Also I have footage of some of the other vehices...a short "interview"
with the owner of a 69 BB, and the tuning of the customized Can-Am vette (along with some tight, over the shoulder shots of Lars
setting the timing), the 73 vette, and last but not least....YOUR 66.

Didn't even ask.. Not to say anything bad but most are more along the lines of the classic vette owner where as I think I'm more of a hot rodder... Dave..
Only on topic because this has to do with fire and cars. A number of years back, 1999 I believe, I saw this "personal safety system" that some South African company came up with.
It's like an alarm that you can activate. This "alarm" shoots fire up from under your doors. Apparently this is useful if you are being carjacked. While painful for the person trying to jack your car, they claimed the system to be non-lethal.
That would suck. You're trying to jack someone's nice ride, you're having a great day and all of a sudden you're being treated like a shish kebob.
