ignition??? help
i replaced my solenoid after first disconnecting the battery (both terminals) on my 78 automatic L48 pace car then by removing the starter motor (in order to get at all the solenoid connections and bolts). after reassembly, the entire ignition (and for that matter the entire electrical system) is dead. turn the key, and nothing, no guage reaction, no headlights, obviously no starter turn over. all the connections were double checked for tightness and there were no damaged wires to fix. the battery shows full charge. i even disconnected the battery connections and re connected them to make certain they were tight. could i have damaged the fusable links on the solenoid leads at the starter, and if so, how difficult are they to replace??
if you don't think that's the problem, i am open to all suggestions.
