Default Which flexplate from bowtie?

I think i need the 168 tooth, but i'm not totally sure. I don't have my car to look at for reference atm, but need to get the part now to have it ready when the time comes..... I think i've got a 2 long bolt starter, but i'm only like 75-80% sure.... I've got a 71 l48 that had the th400 pulled out and a 700r4 put in. I think the guy who did it only modified the existing flexplate.... which scares me! Do you guys think the 168 tooth is what i need? Tks!

The factory flywheel is 168 tooth for all '71 Corvettes. If you think your car may have been molested, just check the starter. The two bolts will be offset if it reatained the large flywheel. Small flywheels have the starter bolts inline. You can roll the dice and assume that the flywheel wasn't changed since that's the easiest thing to do.
