Manifold Vacuum
I've seen a lot of reference to using manifold vacuum for the distributor advance or using tunig with a vacuum guage. Do you get the same reading / results using the manifold vacuum off the carb (not the ported vacuum port) as you would off a manifold tee fitting?

The ports on the carb that are not ported vacuum (there is only one ported vacuum port on a Q-Jet - all other ports are manifold vacuum) are true manifold vacuum. They go directly to manifold, and the reading will be the same as the reading at the manifold.
