First timer here to both Corvettes & forums. Looking to drop the rear end down out of my '77 (I have to replace the rear Cap with a broken lug and also I'd like to get it rebuilt with a 3:7 gear). Looks like there are (3) mounts so I supported everything and then removed all three and then nothing (even tried a pry-bar). I think the Rr X-Member is seized up to the outboard mounts or there is something I am missing. Can anyone help?
Thanks for the help guys! I'll have to figure out how to do the pic thing but they'll be on thier way. I'm looking forward to being a part of this forum!
hey rich, lets see some pics of your 68!!! there seem to be quite a few of us 68'ers here

Here is how I found it.....I saved it from Bubba's cousin.
This is how it looks now. I am opposite a beautiful '67 owned by another member, Don (the guy who does the color wiring diagrams), at the Lars TFB last summer in Chicago. (Thanks to Dep for taking the picture)
I am currently doing the rear suspension...T/A, rear bearing, etc. Hopefully I'll have it back together this weekend.
