check engine light/engine shut off '82 ce
started the '82 for my sunday therapy ride.check engine light went out upon starting then came back on and the engine dropped dead.I never got out of my driveway.(lucky,huh)?I also heard this clicking noise that I earlier had thought was coming from my wheels.I think it's time for me to do some big time worrying.I do have gas in the tank.Is this possibly a few pump problem.I have not read the codes yet because i replaced the original radio.Someone sent the instructions for reading the codes thru the check engine light but my dumb #*@! hit the wrong key and lost the message.please resend.Any help you all can provide will be greatly appreciated.('82 ce)

tankman,
jump the two terminals that are side by side on the aldl connector. should be the top right. turn key to run. first code will be 12. you will see;
flash
short pause
flash flash
it will repeat each code three times

Thanks for the help.I have a code 33,and a code 45.I'll start looking for the map sensor vacuum line,and the oxygen sensor.
