Welcome to the Forum! All I can do is mirror what everyone has said. This is a great place for fun, friendship, and technical help and knowledge. I have learned so much since becoming a member.

I know what you mean about surprises about the condition of your car after purchasing it, but you will learn and by doing so love the car even more.

Give us a shout any time and post some pictures. We can't get enough of them.

Welcome Luann from another '73 vette diva! :D
You can't help but lose your head over a vette! When we got ours, it was in great shape and still is, however, it wasn't fast enough... So, the mods continue. The (hopefully) last of the big mods will be finished by September. I won't let him tear her down until AFTER Carlisle. We are driving that beast to Carlisle. You will have loads of fun with it. Visit my website below and see more pics of her as well as lots of links on info and so on.....and CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW ADDITION :yesnod:

Hi LuAnn :D , I'm a newbie too!! There's something about bringing old Sharks back up to where they started years ago, and most times better, that makes it all worthwhile. C5s are ok, but I like driving something that you don't see that often on the road anymore. And I love the curves!!

Thank-you everyone for your support. I was pretty bummed out about the whole thing, but now I'm ready to jump in again. I don't know much about cars, but I'm ready to learn any way I can. I'm not afraid of the car or of getting dirty. My first question is how do I post my picture? Would like to add mine to all of your beautiful pictures.

My first question is how do I post my picture? Would like to add mine to all of your beautiful pictures.
First you have to get the pic on an internet server. CorvetteForum has free space, just click "Home Page" tab at the top.

To post the pic use the following format (without the * )

[*img]filelocation.com/file.name[*/img]

Just leave out the * and you got it.

Also, I have an owners gallery on my web page (see below). Just e-mail me a pic and I will post it on my site.

tom...
