Does anyone know what type or size is the hose from an alum. radiator to the overflow tank? 69 small block. I do not remember ever seeing heater hose that small. Thanks
I think its a 3/8" ID rubber hose, doesn't have to be pressure hose
Can someone explain why it does not have to be pressure hose. It is connected directly from the radiator to the overflow tank. There are no caps or valves inbetween. Seems to me this hose will have any and all pressure that the system has on it.
Thanks all. Am driving over to Ecklers in the morming to pick up a couple of things. Will ask there what might be available also. If it is just fuel hose will get it from the parts store.
it doesn't need to be a pressure hose because the only pressure is bleed pressure after the radiator cap, just over flow. Unless it is a presurised resevoiur and the cap is on the overflow tank. Either way, fuel hose will work, the pressure on the cap is only about 7psi I think
